Sustainable Innovation Hub
Our company has maintained an ongoing collaboration with universities, actively supporting the research and development of sustainable technologies, as well as exploring their commercial applications. We are excited to announce that we will establish a Sustainable Innovation Hub in the soon-to-be-completed Touchstar Commercial Center. This Hub will primarily focus on the research, development, and exploration of water resource recycling technologies for the rural areas of Saskatchewan.

2025 Update — Rehydra Clean-Tech Initiative (NSERC-Funded)
In 2025, Touchstone and the University of Regina, together with the Town of Langham, were awarded a federal NSERC Alliance research grant to jointly develop a pilot project on sustainable water-reuse technology. This milestone marks the formal launch of Rehydra Cleantech Inc., a new innovation venture housed at the Touchstar Commercial Center.
Rehydra’s first project focuses on transforming a traditional car-wash facility into a closed-loop, smart water-recycling system, serving both as a commercial operation and as a living research lab. The on-site university research space will support applied studies, system optimization, and real-world testing of clean-tech solutions for rural communities.
This initiative strengthens Touchstone’s long-term commitment to sustainable development—bringing together industry, academia, and local government to pioneer practical, scalable clean-technology solutions for Saskatchewan’s small towns and rural regions.
