Our ProJects
Our real estate development framework encompasses a comprehensive approach, beginning with meticulous regional research. This extends to strategic land acquisition, the construction of industrial and commercial parks, and the subsequent park property management. Further strengthening our model is our commitment to business incubation, comprehensive business and community services, and a co-creation business paradigm that emphasizes social value. Our overarching goal is to foster both business growth and the well-being of the local community.

Taimoutain Business Park

Located at 4015 & 4019 Aronec Ave, Saskatoon, Tainmoutian Business Park is the first industry business community investment of Touchstone. This project started with industry zoning land purchase from Saskatoon government in 2012, followed by infrastructure and service offering alignment with the city, and detailed property design and construction. Taimoutian Business Park was completed in October 2017, with a construction area of 38,125 square feet and a floor area of 71,003 square feet. Local small and medium-sized enterprises have very welcomed this business park as its property design combined office and warehouse into a small suite well-accommodated needs of start-ups and SMEs. Touchstone is also the property management provider of the park while offering business incubation services to encourage local entrepreneurship continuously.

Sustainable Innovation HuB

Since 2023, Touchstone has built a long-term strategic partnership with the University of Regina, successfully completing two federal NSERC-funded research projects on sustainable technology. The current initiative represents the third joint venture—now strengthened by the official participation of the Town of Langham. Together, the three parties are establishing a Sustainable Innovation Hub at the Touchstar Commercial Center, designed as an integrated platform for research, teaching, demonstration, and commercial application.
This Hub will serve as a regional anchor site for university-led applied research and public engagement, promoting sustainable living and practical innovation in rural and small-town communities. Key areas of focus include:
-
Water conservation and recycling technologies, including closed-loop filtration systems for car-wash operations;
-
Local renewable-energy solutions, such as solar power and rainwater harvesting;
-
Low-energy infrastructure innovations, with potential for commercialization and community demonstration.
As part of this initiative, the co-developed smart car-wash facility will operate both as a commercial venture and as a living lab—testing sustainability technologies while educating the public and enabling real-world deployment.
With federal support, municipal involvement, and university expertise, the Sustainable Innovation Hub is positioned to advance practical, scalable clean-tech solutions for Saskatchewan’s rural towns and small communities—building a greener, smarter, and more resilient future for the region.
